Pershing UPC Ministries

	Home Bible Study We are currently teaching several different home Bible study courses to individuals from many different walks of life. God is no respecter of persons and He loves us all regardless of race, creed, color, ethnic or religious background. We are not teaching a religion or a denomination, we are only teaching the word of God as it is recorded in the Bible. Many lives have been completely changed through this ministry. 	Sunday School [TOP] Our church offers a variety of Sunday School classes for ages two to adult. These classes meet on Sunday mornings beginning at 10:00am. We invite you and your family to join us in Sunday School this week. More...
	Bus Ministry [TOP] The burden and vision of the Savior has always been in relation to out-stretched arms. The Pershing United Pentecostal Church Bus Ministry isn't just about reaching those who haven't experienced Pentecost. Our Bus Ministry, among other things, is about giving to those that have no means of transportation an opportunity to attend this house of worship. More...
	Music Ministry [TOP] Our Music Ministry is led under the direction of Music Director Ashlea Ison. We have a choir which sings every Sunday night and is open to any church member wishing to participate. We also have praise singers and a wide range of musicians. The music ministry is an anointed and vital part of our worship services.
	Prison Ministry [TOP] The Spirit of the Lord denies the existence of the massive prison walls and cold prison bars when it comes to satisfying a hungry heart and a thirsty soul. The Scripture gives hope to all that are bound. The Pershing United Pentecostal Church Prison Ministry team knows that there is an anointing that breaks the yoke of sin. 	Youth Ministry [TOP] At Pershing, we place a strong emphasis on the importance of young people. Today's Christian youth must be tomorrow's Christian leaders, both in the Church and in society. We have a vital interest in molding and grooming our kids to be the adults that God wants them to be. Our youth are actively involved in activities of the church, and often participate in outings, get-togethers, and worship services designed just for them. More...
	Men's Ministry [TOP] The Men's Ministry works to unify and strengthen the men of our church. Our men meet before every service in the men's prayer room to pray for each service. They also participate in church work days, helping members and others in our community, and meet periodically for fishing trips, hunting trips, breakfasts, and other forms of fellowship.
	Ladies' Ministry [TOP] The Ladies' Ministry works to unify and strengthen the ladies of our church. Our ladies meet before every service in the ladies' prayer room to pray for each service. They also participate in various forms of fellowship such as Ladies' Dining In nights, Ladies Conferences, prayer workshops, church potlucks, and fundraisers.
	Bible Quizzing [TOP] Bible quizzing is open to children and youth ages 8 to 18. The three levels of competition include Junior (ages 8 to 11), Intermediate and Senior (both ages 12 to 18). Participants memorize scriptures then compete with other teams of 2 to 5 quizzers to answer questions. This program is sponsored by the UPCI with scheduled practice tournaments, Extravaganzas, District Finals, and a final National Competition. More...
