What to Expect When You Visit Our Church:

Just what can you expect when you attend a service at our church? That's a good question
and a lot of the answers depend on just what your expectations are. We are a Pentecostal
church so in any given service you're apt to see outward demonstrations of praise and worship.

These can include:

  • People who raise their hands in the air  [TOP]
Because Your loving kindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. (Psalm 63:3-4)
  • People who pray out loud  [TOP]
I cry out to the LORD with my voice; With my voice to the LORD I make my supplication. (Psalm 142:1)
  • Lots of singing  [TOP]
Oh, sing to the LORD a new song! Sing to the LORD, all the earth. Sing to the LORD, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. (Psalm 96:1-2)
  • Clapping of hands  [TOP]
Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! (Psalm 47:1)
  • Spiritual dancing  [TOP]
Let them praise His name with the dance;Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp. (Psalm 149:3)
  • People who speak in other tongues  [TOP]
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (Acts 2:4)

Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues. Let all things be done decently and in order. (I Corinthians 14:39-40)
  • Anointing of the sick with oil  [TOP]
Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. (James 5:14-15)
Following a time of praise and worship, there is usually a time of preaching or teaching from the Word of God. Often there will be a time of prayer where people can seek the Lord Jesus Christ in their own way.

Sunday Services:

We have two Sunday services that are different from one another: Our Sunday morning service: 10 A.M., we have Sunday School. After Sunday School we have a time of Worship and our Pastor preaches a message. Sunday evening services: 6:30 P.M., We begin the service with Worship. There is lots of singing, praise and worship, occasional manifestations of the gifts of the Spirit (I Corinthians 12). Followed by a sermon from our Pastor.

Whether you're just curious about us, seeking the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, or simply desire to know the Lord more than you do, we believe you'll find our services interesting, Holy Spirit-filled, and a place that your life can change, for the better, forever.
